School of Machine and Electronic Information specializes in electronics, information, machinery control, instrumentation and other modern emerging technology disciplines in science and engineering. In 2017, the school enrolls students in six undergraduate programs: electronic information engineering, mechanical engineering and automation (including electromechanical integration and NC Technology), communication engineering, geographic information science, computer science and technology, software engineering. These programs are very professional and can guarantee students wide application choices as well as the high rate of postgraduate education and chances of studying abroad.
30% of the full-time teachers of this school have senior professional titles and all the junior teachers have their doctorate or masters degree.
School of Machine and Electronic Information has computer labs with more than 1000 computers and 22 professional labs including Computer Network, Computer Technology, Electronics and Electrician, Geological Information System, Low Frequency Circuit, High Frequency Circuit, Communication labs and so on. Also, it has built 7 training bases in the cities of Tianjing, Shenzhen, and Wuhan. The employment rate of the graduate students is above 95%.
